Annual Fall Meeting – Sunday, October 25
FPC’s annual fall meeting to elect elders, deacons, and congregational nominating committee will be held during the October 25 outdoor service. If weather prevents our meeting outside on the 25th, we will have the meeting at the next outdoor service.

There’s lots going on at Graceland! Seventh and Eighth graders are meeting in a socially distanced say on Wednesdays at FPC and High School students are meeting for Tuesday night bonfires at the house of Ezrah Schmeelk, Director of Student Ministry house.

Enjoying Book Club!
According to Christa Schmeelk, good things are happening in the book clubs that are reading and discussing I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness by Austin Channing Brown. Christa continues to describe the group members as humble learners that are hungry to see God’s justice in the world and she is uplifted by the conversations that take place in the meetings.

Deadline for Deacon Care Packages
If you’d like your student or member of the military to receive a care package you must provide a mailing address NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 18. Use the email link below or call the church office at 608-949-9445. Packages will be mailed in late October.

Family Connection Groups: In-person and virtual
Family Connection groups are now happening. We meet for 10 minutes via Zoom, share highs and lows from the week, and end with a quick prayer. What a great church family connection! Email Christa if you are interested in a virtual or outside/in person family connection group.
Backyard visits with Christa

FPC’s First Outdoor Communion
Last Sunday, we celebrated our first on-site communion since quarantine began last March. FPC families received prepackaged elements as they joined Christians worldwide at the Lord’s table on World Communion Sunday.
