Virtual Women’s Bible Study

Starting Thursday October 22 and running every other week, Christa Schmeelk, Director of Family Ministry, is hosting a new Bible study for women. Would you like to be a part of it? Email Christa for more information in the button below.

I want to be part of the Women’s Bible Study!

This Weekend’s Message

Often the things that look like they are upsetting our lives and throwing us off course are the very things God is using to get our attention for something new that He wants for us. Join us online or at the Sunday outdoor worship at 10:45 for this message based on Exodus 3:1-5.

Annual Fall Meeting – Sunday, October 25

FPC’s annual fall meeting to elect elders, deacons, and congregational nominating committee will be held during the October 25 outdoor service.  If weather prevents our meeting outside on the 25th, we will have the meeting at the next outdoor service.

Student Ministries Newsletter

There’s lots going on at Graceland! Seventh and Eighth graders are meeting in a socially distanced say on Wednesdays at FPC and High School students are meeting for Tuesday night bonfires at the house of Ezrah Schmeelk, Director of Student Ministry house.

Read about these events plus how to participate in the Trunk or Treat event in the October Student Ministries Newsletter.

Enjoying Book Club!

According to Christa Schmeelk, good things are happening in the book clubs that are reading and discussing I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness by Austin Channing Brown. Christa continues to describe the group members as humble learners that are hungry to see God’s justice in the world and she is uplifted by the conversations that take place in the meetings.

Video Devotional: To Everything There Is a Season

Bethel Series Executive Director and FPC member, Rev. Jeff Quinto presents this devotion, “To Everything There Is a Season,” based on Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 and 2 Timothy 1:7.

Stephen Ministry

We know the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone—raising the level of fear, stress, and anxiety for people all over the world and underscoring the importance of caring ministry. As a Stephen Ministry congregation, we equip and empower lay caregivers to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care. Our commitment to this ministry is extrememly important during these uncertain times.

If you, or someone you know, could benefit from this ministry, contact the church office.
