Staff

Will Wilson grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where his family has lived since the late 1700s. In 2013, he graduated from Montreat College in Montreat, North Carolina, with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Biblical Studies. Will also earned a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. He is married to Dr. Abigail Bruxvoort (Ph.D.). They are the parents of one daughter, Iris.  Will enjoys travel, live music, theology, and serving God’s people with energy, intelligence, imagination, and love.

Ben was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. An only child, he had close neighborhood friends who remain like brothers.Confirmed as both a Lutheran and a Catholic (because his father was Catholic and his mother Lutheran), Ben found his faith growing when he became active in a Lutheran high school youth group. As a high school student, Ben had hoped to attend the U.S. Naval Academy, but a dodgeball injury and the Holy Spirit re-routed him toward ordained ministry.He later earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Muhlenberg College and then his divinity degree from Gettysburg Seminary. At seminary he met, and later married, Sara from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Sara is Pastor at Stoughton Lutheran Church. They have one son, Odin, who graduated from Waunakee High School and is headed to college.

Angela Himegarner brings heart, dedication, and a deep love for community to her role at FPC. Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Angela ventured west to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned her degree in Sociology with a minor in Communications. After graduation, she met her husband, Michael, and together they began a life filled with faith, family, and service.Angela and Michael married and were blessed with two wonderful daughters, Samantha and Cori. Their family’s journey led them from active involvement in the Catholic Church to a new spiritual home in Wisconsin, where they joined FPC in 2017. Angela’s passion for helping others and spreading joy is evident in her years of volunteer work. Now, she steps into a new chapter as our new G.R.A.C.E Director, bringing her warmth, creativity, and commitment to nurturing young hearts and families. Outside of church life, Angela and her family enjoy lake days, making memories with loved ones, and cheering on their favorite football team—the Kansas City Chiefs.

Joe grew up in Lester Prairie Minnesota, in a family of nine kids. He earned a degree in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead and had the pleasure of teaching elementary school for eight years. Joe has always loved working with kids and cherishes watching them take hold of new knowledge and grow. He’s married with three children, and says his most enjoyable job is being a dad. In his free time, Joe enjoys sports, spending time with family, and being outdoors.

Jamison Wendlandt serves as Director of Worship & Music at First Presbyterian Church–Waunakee. Jamison began serving at FPC as Choir Director in 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. He brings experience in music education, worship leadership, performance, and program administration. 

 

 

Jamison is passionate about creating meaningful worship experiences, encouraging participation across generations, and building community through music. His leadership combines musical preparation, thoughtful organization, and a collaborative approach to ministry.
