Lenten Dinners Start This Wednesday!

Bring all your friends to a FREE Rocky Railway VBS-themed dinner this Wednesday, March 4 in Fellowship Hall hosted by Children’s Ministry. You can look forward to chew-chewing on a build your own pasta bar. Lotsa pasta with lotsa sauces: spaghetti, alfredo, and mac-n-cheese. (Yum!) Plus salad, chicken, garlic bread, and desserts!
Meals begins at 5:30 and are followed by a 30 minute devotion ending at 6:45.

Palm Sunday, April 5 at the 8:45 Service
During Lenten dinner Adult devotional time, we are offering 2 children’s choirs—one for toddler through kindergarten and one for 1st through 6th grades. You don’t have to attend the Lenten dinners to participate. This five-week-choir opportunity, will culminate in a performance on Palm Sunday. It is important to email your interest in participating to Christa Schmeelk, Director of Family Ministry, as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. We need little voices!
Be a Prayer Warrior for FPC families
We are building an informal group of adults age 55 and up that will meets to discuss desires and prayers for our own families as well as the families of FPC. Christa Schmeelk, Director of Familiy Ministry, will provide specific prayer requests from the Children, Family, and Student Ministries for you to take home and pray about for the next 30 days.
The family prayer warriors will meet in the Conference Room during the Sunday School hour 9:50-10:35am: March 8, April 5, May 3. Come to one or more meetings and invite anyone who might be interested.

March Mission Focus – Outreach for World Hope
OWH has been working in Guatemala since 2005 to save the lives of starving children through sponsorship, while at the same time providing pathways out of poverty through education and sustainable agriculture programs. OWH will be the focus throughout March and will end on “Sponsorship Sunday” March 22. Prayerfully consider sponsoring a child over the next few weeks and perhaps be prepared to make a commitment at the end of this month. Graceland Small Group Night
Wednesday, March 11 | 7:00-8:30pm
Boys and girls will be hanging out with their small group and mentors on March 11. The boys will be showing off their video game skills and the girls will be decorating Easter eggs.
