Our FPC Family at Home: Staying Connected During the Quarantine
FPC is Alive! Here’s how we celebrated Easter
Here’s some feedback we got from the Easter service:
Thank you for a wonderful Easter service. We found a way to play it on our TV and seeing Pastor Kirk and Pastor Ben on the big screen was definitely worth the trouble of getting it set up! We are thankful to be a part of FPC during this time.
Outstanding worship service!! What a great finale for Holy Week. Thanks to Pastors Kirk and Ben for their uplifting message and to the musicians and support staff that devote their time and talents. We are so fortunate to have them sharing Christ’s love with us.
and finally…
Dave and Sandy Healy spotted this easter bunny delivering some surprise treats to some friends The treats were delivered with instructions that read: Like Mary and the other Mary.
Wait to open for 3 days and enjoy the good surprise.
Thanks for all the great submiossions this past week. Let’s keep it going!
What are YOU doing at home?
We want to see what’s going on at your house! Please send us pictures or video links so our church family can feel connected when we can’t physically be together. Send your photos, links of your 1-2 minute video, or stories to communications@myfpc.org so we can share it in an upcoming Connector. Let’s be intentional about Living Faith Together!
Waunakee Food Pantry in great need of donations!
The food pantry is now operating week to week. There is very little back stock due to the cancelation of the two major Spring food drives that normally bring in 10,000 lbs of food and supplies!
Immediate needs are: toilet paper, paper towels, side dishes – rice and pasta, boxed potatoes, boxed dinners, ketchup, jello/pudding, spaghetti sauce, and laundry detergent.
Donations can be made at the box outside the Food Pantry at 806 S Division St and there is now a donation box at the Waunakee Piggly Wiggly. Or contact Lynda Bennin at 608-849-8656 or email blbennin@tds.net to set up other donation drop off options.
MOPS meets virutally
MOPS met this past week online with the theme of Mom University. They focused on 4 topics: First aid Q&A, Kindergarten Readiness, Meal Planning, and Essential Oils. The ladies met all together and then split up into small groups for additional connection and chating.
Sunday school student books are in the mail
Incoming mail for kids! Watch the mailbox for Sunday School student books coming to your home. A big thank you to Danielle Moore, our Nursery Coordinator, for packaging them with care!
Spring Clean Up – POSTPONED
2020 FPC Spring Clean-up day has been indefinitely postponed – due to the current public health emergency. The day will be re-scheduled at a later date. Stay tuned for a revised date.

Stephen Ministry
We know the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone—raising the level of fear, stress, and anxiety for people all over the world and underscoring the importance of caring ministry. As a Stephen Ministry congregation, we equip and empower lay caregivers to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care. Our commitment to this ministry is extremely important during these uncertain times.
If you, or someone you know, could benefit from this ministry, contact the church office.
