CHOIR FALL KICK-OFF PARTY

Taken primarily from chapters 12-50 of Genesis.  We will discover God’s pursuit of relationship and the unfolding of His earthly plan: how through one nation—and ultimately one man—all people on earth would be blessed. The book that goes with our study can be ordered at your request for $20.Come join us for this 11-week, in-depth study.  Please sign up at the Adult Education Station in the Connection Center (straight back from the front entrance).

Grow in Faith and Fellowship!
Back by popular demand, our Fall Home Fellowship Groups will start the week of September 28 and run for five weeks through the week of October 26 on Monday through Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. 
Enjoy the fellowship of other members and friends of First Presbyterian Church of Waunakee.  Make new friends and meet old friends in a new way.  Sessions are held in relaxed home settings hosted by fellow church members and are led by church members who have been trained to facilitate this experience.  Open to individuals of all ages and stages of personal faith.  Explore your own relationship with God and discover pathways to a deeper faith!

FIRST FRIDAY: CARD GAMES!

ALL CHURCH PICNIC TO WELCOME BACK PASTOR KIRK!
Sunday, September 14, NOON

Help to welcome Pastor Kirk back at a church picnic on the church grounds.  Enjoy great food and games!  The picnic will be potluck; we’re asking families to bring the following:

After the feast, join us for some classic outdoor games or try your luck at Bingo.  Prizes!  Surprises!  A whole lot of fun for young and old alike.  You may want to bring lawn chairs or blankets for outdoor seating.  Don’t miss it!

TIMES ARE CHANGING…
Fall Worship Schedule Begins Soon!

On Sunday, September 7, Worship Services on Sunday Mornings will resume the regular fall schedule: 8:30 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.

Our last 6:30 p.m. Thursday Evening Worship will be August 28.  Our last Sunday Worship at 9:30 a.m. will be August 31. 

FRIENDS DINING OUT

NEW Kingdom Kids  DIRECTOR: BECKY CARLSON!

The CCE Team is excited to welcome our new Kingdom Kids Director, Rebecca Carlson, to FPC Staff.  She loves working with children and has education and experience in early childhood education.  We will introduce Becky during Worship services on Thursday, August 28, and Sunday, August 31.  Afterwards she will be available to meet Kingdom Kids and their parents personally.  She will also have Kingdom Kids registration forms available so she can learn more about each child in her care.  We hope you can join us.  Kingdom Kids officially begins the following Sunday, September 7, during both 8:30 & 10:45 services.

VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
Saturday, September 27, 10:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m.

Windsor United Church of Christ has invited us to participate in their Fall Festival Volleyball Tournament.  Teams must be made of 6 adults (16 yrs and up), 3 men & 3 women.  Registration is free and churches may have more than one team.  Teams are welcome to the Annual Fall Festival Pork Supper, 4:00—8:00 p.m.; tickets are about $10 and available at the door or by calling 608-846-5731.
