Welcome to the First Pres Youth Ministry Page!

First Pres Youth Ministry is in the process of an exciting transition; exciting because we are looking forward to what God has in store for this ministry! We rejoice along with our previous Director, Thomas Burris, as he and his wife answer God’s call to a new ministry in Indianapolis. The DYM (Director of Youth Ministry) Search Team has been working diligently to advertise for and interview possible candidates for this position. Both the search team and the youth ministry team are committed to doing this in God’s time rather than our time. To this end, the youth leaders are stepping forward to continue youth group “as usual”.

Brett and Julie Cable, Larry Keen, Joan Cable and Rick Mueller have a great deal of experience with teaching, leading small groups and building relationships with students with the purpose of bringing them into a closer understanding of their faith and love for Jesus.

In addition, we welcome seniors Amanda Mathwig, Sara Vincent and Lily Vanderbloemen as well as former ZOO & Graceland student, Alex Kuehn to help and support the team during this interim period of time.
