Children are always welcome to worship with their families. God put the wiggle in your children; don’t feel like you have to suppress it in God’s house. The presence of children is a gift to the church and a sign of a healthy congregation. Please welcome our children and give a smile of encouragement to their parents. The way we welcome children directly affects the way they respond to the church, to God, and to each other.

Join us in the Gathering Space for lemonade, coffee, and friendly conversation after both services.

Communion at FPC
The first Sunday of the month is Communion Sunday.

Everyone is welcome to the Table of Christ in this church, whether they have ever had a "First Communion" or not.  Access to the Table is a gift of grace to the undeserving who come in faith, repentance, and love. Baptized children who are being instructed by parents or teachers in the meaning of this meal are invited to participate. Those who doubt or whose trust is wavering may come to the Table in order to be assured of God's love and grace in Jesus Christ.

At FPC, we serve Communion by intinction: where one takes a piece of bread and dips it in the cup. Ushers will direct the rows to come forward to receive the bread and cup as we share Christ's supper. Those who are unable to come forward who wish to be served while sitting in the pew may let an usher know. Those deciding not to partake may remain seated in meditation. If you have allergies or prefer not to partake from the common plate or cup, we invite you to receive peanut, nut, gluten and dairy free elements from the center Elder at the front of the church.

Watch the service at home!
Did you miss the sermon, want to watch it again, or share it with a friend? FPC worship services can be viewed on the Waunakee public access cable stations the following week: Channel 96 (digital), Channel 979.1 (cable and digital) every Sunday at 9:00am and 7:00pm. Sound files of the sermons can also be found on our website under the "Sermons" tab.
