During both regular Sunday worship services, KINGDOM KIDS offers age-appropriate worship for children ages 3–kindergarten that nurtures their budding faith. Children accompany parents to the Sanctuary at the start of regular worship service. Once seated, parents/guardians of "Kingdom Kids" should fill in a "Kingdom Kids" nametag found in the pew racks. Please place this nametag on your child before the Children's Moment portion of the service. Nametags are essential as they provide parent cell phone numbers and allergy information to our Kingdom Kids leaders. After the Children's Moment during the worship service, our Kingdom Kids leader will guide children from the sanctuary to classroom 303 (second floor).  We praise God with music, prayer, Bible stories, and interactive activities during this time. Parents can pick up their children from Kingdom Kids in classroom 303 after the regular worship service ends. Starting Sunday, May 27, Kingdom Kids will be on the main floor, Room 202 (next to the Nursery), for the summer.

What is Sunday School like at FPC? Our program is filled with dedicated teachers sharing their warm hearts, talents, endless smiles, and God’s unconditional love! While we believe parents are the first educators of their children knowing our Lord, we believe God is also working through us at FPC to share the knowledge of the Bible and teachings of Jesus with your children. We are so happy and blessed to have each and every child walk (usually run) through our classroom doors to come learn more about God. We teach in a fun and friendly way, and the children seem to love it!

What if my child misses the first day(s) or can’t come regularly? It’s always great to see the kids as often as possible, but there’s no attendance requirement. Kids are always welcome to come any Sunday throughout the whole year. And friends are always welcome too!

Do I need to pick up my children from their classrooms? Parents of preschool-age and Kindergarten children need to pick up their child(ren) from their classrooms on the first floor. Children in upstairs classrooms are dismissed at the end of class. (Please talk with your upstairs child about where you’d like them to meet you after dismissal.)

What can I do while my children are in Sunday School? We’re glad you asked! We always welcome parents into the classroom to assist on any Sunday—or you are welcome to attend Adult Sunday School or enjoy the coffee and company of other parents in the Gathering Space.

Are there any days “off” due to holidays? Yes. Our Sunday School classes meet throughout the school year with breaks for New Year’s, Spring Break, Easter, and Mother’s Day. Please check back at the end of the summer for the 2017-18 calendar.
