High School Mission Trips
Every summer interested students travel with us regionally, nationally or internationally for one week to engage in mission work and learn more about themselves and God in the process. These trips create lasting changes in the lives of each participant, including their relationships with God, each other, and their outlook on the world.

For the 2016 trip, our group partnered with Casas por Cristo to serve the people of San Raimundo, Guatemala. This was FPC's largest mission trip ever, with 75 adult and youth participants. In 2017, 50 students and 12 adult mentors from FPC traveled to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. This is a community that, although it has joys, also has many hardships, including a devastating poverty rate, a startlingly low life expectancy, a struggling school system, and more.

Parent Informational Meeting:  Parents of middle & high school students are welcome, and their children, to join us and hear about the student ministry at FPC, what we exist, what we do, and how to get connected while offering a time of Q&A.  This meeting will take place in the upstairs youth space between services (9:50-10:35am) on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017.

High School Summer Backpacking Trip: Students on this weeklong trip in June (exact dates TBA), will enjoy a beautiful, rigorous and life changing journey to Painted Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to deepen their relationships with God & each other while enjoying his beautiful creation.  The info meeting will be between services (9:50-10:35am) on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

High School Mission Trip: This summer in July (exact dates TBA), a small group of students will travel to Seattle, WA to become more faithful disciples of Christ while learning about and serving the marginalized in the Seattle communities. The info meeting will be between services (9:50-10:35am) on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Winter Retreats: These exciting retreats provide opportunities for students to grow in their faith, connect with others, play games, and eat delicious camp food, all during a fun-filled weekend at Lake Geneva Youth Camp.  HS retreat is January 19-21, 2018 and MS retreat is January 26-28, 2018.

Middle School Devil’s Lake Trip:  This adventure is filled with guided rock climbing, canoeing, swimming, delicious food, and time connecting with god and one another.  Dates TBA.
