"The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 1:13

Interested in Using Your Musical Gifts?
Do you enjoy contemporary Christian music? Do you sing or play a musical instrument or have experience operating a sound/video console? Are you interested in using your musical gifts to serve the congregation? You are invited to explore being a part of the Worship Team at our second worship service. To find out more about this opportunity, please contact Nancy Groeneveld, Director of Music and Worship Arts, at firstname.lastname@example.org or Eric Ross, Contemporary Band Leader, at email@example.com or talk with us right after the second service. We’d love to connect with you!
You only have to set foot inside the doors of this, or any, church to appreciate the beauty of choral singing. To a new singer though, the thought of choral singing may seem daunting, particularly for someone unable to read music. With that in mind, here are a few reasons to get started.
A New Challenge: Learning to sing is a challenge in itself, but learning to sing with others is a skill that makes it all the more rewarding.
Social Benefits: As with any club or social group, membership will not only enhance your circle of friends but also your social life.
Education: There is a wealth of sacred choral music to discover and being part of a choir is one way of finding some of the hidden gems of sacred choral repertoire.
Health Benefits: Singing is an ideal way to relax and relieve stress as it provides an outlet from the pressures of daily life.
A Lifelong Passion: Choral singing can become a hobby for life. There are no age or gender restrictions, it requires only time to join. There’s no need to purchase an instrument.
Adult Choir Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. For more information, contact Andrew Estervig at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Joyful Noise Instrumental Ensemble meets on Thursdays at 7:00pm - come and check it out anytime! Sam Robinson is looking for instrumentalists of all skill levels and would love to hear from you if you have any questions about being a part of Joyful Noise.
