"Now that my position here at FPCW has officially begun, one of the first requests of me was to provide biographical information and a few introductory words for the newsletter. This will be the ninth church where I have been a member of the music staff either as a director, organist or pianist. My first connection with church music was through my grandmother who was the organist for over 30 years at the church in Indiana where I grew up. I have fond memories of sitting beside her on the bench and "helping" her practice. My son Sam was entering kindergarten when we first moved to Sun Prairie and now he will be a freshman at Sun Prairie High School. He loves baseball and is a devoted cubs fan. It is no coincidence that our other family member is an adopted Lab/Retriever mix named 'Wrigley'."

"One of my first responsibilities will be to coordinate the special music which brings me to my first request to you. If you have provided special music in the past or perhaps have thought about providing special music, I would love to hear from you. If you need help finding music or help preparing music, I will be glad to assist. Please contact me if you know of someone that would like to be an invited guest to sing or play during worship."

"It has been a pleasure to attend worship service at FPCW as a visitor in the pew and to participate in worship substituting on organ, piano, or as a violinist. Now it is truly a privilege to connect with the church in a new role as the Director of Music Ministries. I am looking forward to collaborating with the outstanding music staff and talented musicians that already work so diligently to provide meaningful and inspiring music for worship."
